Yum

I am not one to brag, but I just found a piece of preserved human flesh on my cell phone.  That's all I have to say about that...

More updates this weekend.

  1. To you, a "poor" med student, I say, "Eat all the protein you can get wherever and whenever you find it!" Just think of it as Cadaver Sushi. Wasabe anyone??

  3. Just found your blog and it adds sunlight to my every Mosunday (TM pending) from here on out for 1500 odd days. I was reminiscing about the days of my life spent in vet school (I'm a real doctor too). I was remembering waiting in rapt anticipation (Horror?) to sit around the 15 headed scope as an instructor of foreign language taught us - language - and we watched as some poor goat's leiomyosarcom sped under the head of the microscope at nearly the speed of sound. I wondered sometimes if quantum mechanics came into play as the image sped past our wondering eyes...

With this latest find, I think you're looking at this all wrong. Consider it an opportunity. I wonder today what life would have been like if the internet and ebay would have existed as I went through school. One of my professors once told us in a dairy diagnostics seminar class, "Go for the bucks." I say, pawn the things you can while you're in school to the people who see the highest value (they can store things in jars - ooh, ooh, ooh). Once you've done this, sell the rest on ebay!

    p. s. I graduated without one thing in jars; just the way I like it . . .
